Common Questions – here are the answers to our most frequently asked questions: What is the usual arrival and departure day? Saturday, but if this is inconvenient it is sometimes possible for other days to be offered How will I know how to get to my cottage? You will receive ‘how to get there’ details in your Cottage Information Pack What time will the cottage be available? From 3.00pm but please ring the owner a few days before your holiday to discuss key arrangements When do I have to vacate the cottage? By 10.00am to allow for it to be cleaned for the next holidaymakers Are there any extra charges?   Not usually but any extras, such as fuel supplements, are detailed in the cottage descriptions Can I park my car safely?   Off road parking is available at lots of the cottages and details are given in each cottage description Can I walk to the pub from the cottage?   Yes from many of the cottages and details are given in each cottage description Are bed linen and towels provided?   Bed linen is provided in all our cottages and towels in most of them as detailed in the cottage descriptions Will the beds be made up before we arrive?   Yes and for holidays of more than one week the linen and towels will be changed weekly. Cot linen is not normally available Are the cottages thoroughly cleaned?   Yes but because of the limited changeover time please leave your cottage as clean and tidy as you found it Can we bring our dog?   Pets are welcome in a number of our cottages as detailed in the cottage descriptions, subject to a small additional charge Can extra people be accommodated in the cottage?   Yes in some cottages subject to agreement with the owner. A small additional charge is made for a Z-bed Are cots and high chairs available?   Yes in the majority of cottages. We are child friendly and can usually provide cots, high chairs, stair gates and baby baths free of charge Do you do short-breaks?   Yes in low season or for last minute bookings. We usually charge 5/7 of the weekly rate Do you cater for people with disability?   Yes we are very happy to help with their requirements or advise on the accessibility of the cottages.
