Description

Bluebell Cottage is a little gem of a cottage surrounded by wonderful countryside at the head of beautiful Manifold Dale. Sit on the sunny patio, gaze at the view and think you are in the middle of nowhere. Yet the picturesque village of Longnor with its 'sell everything' village store, tea rooms where the breakfasts are to die for, Cheshire Cheese that does classic pub food, amazing craft centre and even a fish and chip shop is just a mile away.

There are walks galore right from the cottage door but you might also fancy jumping in the car to explore the other lovely local villages. Hartington with its duck pond and famous cheese shop is a must. Monyash with a great cafe next to the Bulls Head pub is not to be missed. Meerbrook with the Lazy Trout pub and walks round the reservoir is great too. Venture slightly further and find Eyam with all its 'plague' history.

And then of course there are all the Peak District's famous attractions ranging from Chatsworth House, mellow Bakewell and the dramatic Roaches to the Derwent Valley Dams, Victorian Buxton and even Alton Towers. Stop at one of the village pubs on the way back but leave time for the last glass on the patio under a canopy of stars.

Cottage facilities:
