Reviews

Excellent cottage very spacious & ideal for large families

Mrs D,

Yew Tree cottage is very spacious and beautifully positioned overlooking parkland. A local shop and pub are within pleasant walking distance and the area is full of activities for children and teenagers

Mr P,

We had an absolutely perfect stay in the cottage it really is the most beautiful, quaint cottage (although it has given me major house envy!) We will definitely be back and would recommend this to anybody who wants a little private getaway.

Mr C,

We had a wonderful few nights away in the cottage. It felt like home away from home with all your needs thought about and catered for. The kitchen is equipped for all your needs- copious amounts of crockery and cutlery, 2 fridges and a large dishwasher. Each room is beautifully decorated and comfortable to stay in. We were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the views and dine outdoors thanks to lovely weather whilst we stayed. It is located near local shops and conveniently sits between Matlock & Bakewell with close proximity to Chatsworth and many walks. I would highly recommend a stay here. We came away relaxed and refreshed.

Previous Customer,

Hard to fault this property. Very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. Plenty of parking space and the garden is beautiful and well tended. We had a lovely stay. You will need a car (or bikes). There's not a lot within walking distance, just a small supermarket, a couple of pubs and takeaways, and one really good café (the Sticky Fig). But if you don't mind driving/cycling to get around, it's great base for exploring the Peaks.
