Post Cottage is utterly wonderful!! It just oozes quality throughout its spacious accommodation with glowing log-burning stoves, luxurious lounge, charming dining room, extensive fully fitted breakfast kitchen, four bedrooms and three ultra modern bathrooms even including a whirlpool bath.
The cottage is set in the picturesque 'Chatsworth Estate' village of Beeley within the Peak District National Park. Beeley is a quiet village and the cottage looks across the village square towards the Devonshire Arms, renowned gastro-pub. Nestling in the Derwent Valley this unchanged village typifies times gone by. A few steps from the cottage is The Smithy, previously the blacksmiths and now the village shop/deli/cafe.
If you can tear yourselves away from Beeley there is something to fill everyday of your holiday. Walkers have lots of paths to explore. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are just minutes away. Bakewell, Matlock and Ashbourne are a must for shopping. Favourite days out for our children include boating on Carsington Water, biking along the High Peak Trail or a trip down the Blue John Caverns.

A spacious dining kitchen with log-burning stove, bespoke wooden units, pine table and chairs, T.V., range style cooker, separate second hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A utility room with sink, large fridge/freezer, automatic washer and tumble-dryer. A downstairs double bedroom with pine furniture and en-suite shower room with large shower and W.C. Upstairs a large double bedroom with pine furniture and T.V with an ultra modern bathroom with whirlpool bath, separate shower and W.C A family bedroom with double and single beds. A twin bedroom. A family bathroom with bath/power shower over and W.C.
Linen and towels are provided. Central heating, fuel and power are included. A cot and high chair can be requested. There is a terraced patio and large garden with furniture. Parking is available right outside the cottage. Pets are allowed by arrangement. Smoking is not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be possible. Please ask for details and a copy of the cottage access statement.
Weekly bookings are normally Friday to Friday but short breaks are available throughout the year excluding Xmas and New Year. Bookings for Christmas and New Year are from Tuesday to Tuesday.
