Cara is a brilliant cottage, created out of a mellow stone barn on a lovely little farm. If the standard of the cottage is superb then so is its peaceful location, surrounded by rolling countryside, with stunning views over the valley, but with Holymoorside's village store and two great pubs just a wander across the fields.
Holymoorside is a very attractive village on the edge of the Peak District National Park with local walks through the bluebell woods by the river Hipper, or up onto Beeley Moor for wonderful views over Chatsworth .Yet civilisation is not far away with all Chesterfield's attractions - historic market square, high street shops, theatre, multi - screen cinema, and much much more - only 10 minutes drive away.
Head beyond Chesterfield to discover Bolsover's 'storm the battlements' castle, Bess of Hardwick's Hall and even Robin Hood's Sherwood Forest. Venture the other way into the Peak and revel in the world famous scenery, marvel at Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, relive bygone days at the National Tramway Museum or explore the Derwent Valley world heritage site.
A spacious lounge and dining area with comfortable furniture, coal effect electric fire, T.V.,Freeview, D.V.D. and Wi Fi together with picture window views over the valley. A superb fitted kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and automatic washer. A really attractive double bedroom with king-size bed. An adjoining bathroom with shower and W.C.
Linen and towels are provided. Central heating, fuel and power included. There is a spacious patio and garden with furniture. Ample parking is available. Pets and smoking are not permitted. There is easy walking access for people with disabilities. Please ask for details and a copy of the cottage access statement.

"Loved our stay in your spacious, light, warm and comfortable cottage. Stunning views and ideal location. Holymoorside was constructing a well dressing for the RHS Chatsworth flower show during our holiday and we watched it's progress and completion with interest. The many hours of painstaking hard work produced a beautiful 3-D afternoon tea scene. Starting from the Mam Nick National Trust car park ( Hope Valley/ Castleton ) we had a long walk with fantastic views along the ridges by Mam Tor, followed by a delicious wood fired pizza at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Inn at Castleton. Thank you."
