"This is our second visit to Ivy Cottage and we had a fabulous time once again. Everything is spotlessly clean and really well equipped (the owners have thought of everything). The beds are so comfortable you can't help but relax straight into your holiday. Two Dales is well situated for access to the numerous tourist activities across the region but with all the best bits of a quiet village. Really enjoyed the Pickled Pear café at the end of the road for fabulous coffees and delicious food."

"We had a lovely and relaxing stay in this beautiful cottage. The location was great and we visited many of the surrounding villages and went for some really nice walks. We particularly liked the café at Couldswell Mill in Rowsley, and the walk around Chatsworth Park. We also had some good quiz games in the summer house . Thanks so much for all the welcome touches. We really felt we had a good holiday in these difficult times."

"Thank you for a very warm welcome to this lovely, well located cottage. We loved all the little touches, including the welcome treats, flowers, the summer house and well tendered flowerpots. Janet and Steven have been very attentive to our needs, and acted very promptly when there was a problem with the telly. The attention to cleanliness was much appreciated, especially in the pre – lockdown times. We have enjoyed lovely walks in the area and especially enjoyed going up the lane into the woods. Thanks Again"

"This is a fantastic cottage, which is much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. We could tell the owners had used it personally themselves, it was not only highly practical, with everything we needed. It was also extremely comfortable with lovely small touches. It has been beautifully kept, was spotless and additionally had seasonal touches. The cottage is also superbly located with shops within easy walking distance, on a quiet road, with many fantastic walks to the hills nearby from the door. We had a great time. Thank You,"

"What a gem to find, luck was on our side as we had searched for days to find the right cottage. Janet and Steven have the cleanest, cosiest and well stocked cottage we have ever stayed in. Everything is top quality regardless of which room you are in. Those extra touches make it home from home and the extra treats were not expected but were so welcome, the outside summer house is a real pleasure. Janet you have been the perfect host in every way for which we thank you."

"Our second stay at Ivy Cottage. Thank you for letting us use your very clean and well equipped cottage. Supper comfy beds, it’s like a home from home. Its great location means it is a perfect base for exploring Derbyshire. We have visited some old favourites such as Dovedale and had a great time doing new things, such as climbing ‘Man Tor’ and ‘The Roaches’. I think the children now love Derbyshire as much as I do."

"This is one of the best holiday lets we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen is so well equipped and the entire cottage is spotlessly clean. You have really thought of everything to make a stay here ‘home from home’. We really appreciated the vouchers you left and had a fabulous time at the Heights of Abraham and Gulliver’s Theme Park. So much to do here we’ll just have to come back. Thank you for the flowers, drinks and biscuits too!"

"We have really enjoyed our time in this lovely, well –equipped cottage. We have visited Hardwick Hall and came the long way home via Chatsworth Park, still as beautiful as ever. We know the area well and have been happy to have a stroll down memory lane in Matlock and Cromford. If you find yourself in Worksworth, we can recommend the food at the Mistral. Thank you Janet and Steven for the warm welcome and the goodies. We hope to be back."
