"Absolutely fabulous house providing spacious and luxurious accommodation. We had a great time, enjoying a relaxing family Easter break. Lots of space inside and out. Kids loved exploring the garden and having their own chill out room. Nice to have a holiday home with a well stocked kitchen too."

"A very comfortable, clean and contemporary house which was perfect for my family to celebrate my sixtieth birthday. We really enjoyed our stay and feel that it is ideally placed to explore Bakewell, Chatsworth and Buxton. The illuminations at Matlock Bath we’re a real highlight for my four grandchildren and the Halloween activities at Chatsworth House were enjoyed by all. I would highly recommend this venue for parties of ten as there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the gardens. In addition it is suitable for all ages as there is a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor."

"The house has a great location, with fantastic views. The kids loved running around in the large garden and also the nearby park. The living room and kitchen are also spacious, with plenty of storage in the outbuildings for bikes. The only downsides to our stay were a minor water leak which was quickly resolved by the owners and the rather steep staircase, which isn't ideal for small children. The house is ideally situated for visits to Matlock, Bakewell, Heights of Abraham, Peak Railway, Monsall Trail, Eyam Hall and Chatsworth House. There's loads for young and old to do nearby."

"We have just come back from spending the most relaxing easter break away with family in the dales. We had never been to the Peak District before and Yew Tree cottage was situated perfectly between Chatsworth, bakewell and Matlock giving us a lot of options of places to visit during our stay. The hosts gave us a lovely warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We were given some top tips for walks around the area and nice little cafes to visit. If you love vintagey type shops then look no further! The cottage itself was so spacious and light and there was more than enough space for you to relax, it was a little cold to enjoy the outside table and chairs but the option was there if you wanted. We are already planning our next family trip away, the cottage was spotlessly clean and the views were incredible. A fabulous break away! Thank you!!"

"Absolutely fantastic! Just got back from our family holiday and couldn't fault this cottage at all. We went away with the kids and extended family and everyone had a great time. The cottage is exceptional, everything is of a high standard and so much space. Storage is always an issue when we go away in a large group but there was so much cupboard and wardrobe space it meant there was none of the usual clutter lying around. The kitchen is fantastic and very well stocked with equipment. Also loved that tea/coffee and milk was waiting for us when we arrived after a long drive stuck in traffic, really nice touch. The rooms are all bright and airy with so much space. We had elderly grandparents with us so the downstairs bedroom and shower room was invaluable and a key reason we booked here. The views are exceptional and having a high wall and gate blocking off the main road meant the kids could have fun in the garden securely and without me worrying constantly. We had a small problem while we were there when one of the kids managed to press the reset button on the wifi but the person I spoke to was fine about this and it was sorted out really quickly. It's also a great location to get out and do stuff without having to drive for hours to find attractions. Would definitely come back again."

"We took my Mum here for her 70th birthday surprise. 6 adults. one teenager . 2 under 10 and a nine week old baby !! The house is fantastic and has everything and more. The views across the valley are beautiful ! The garden although on a slope gave the boys somewhere to let off steam and play football safely. We caught the Peak Rail train from Darley Dale to Matlock and spent a fab day in the park there. In the evening we had takeaway from the Shalimar restaurant. It was the best Indian we have had in ages and the staff were very friendly ! you cannot beat this gorgeous house if you have an extended family get together. Wish I could live here permanently !"
