"Lovely cosy cottage in an idyllic location, plenty of walks from the door for differing abilities. Excellent for bird watching and strolling along the riverbank. Central for the South Peak District. Cottage has all you need and also shops and pubs within walking distance (uphill) Also plenty of lovely pubs nearby serving selection of quality ales and serving good food and with very friendly landlords and staff. HomeAway recommended restaurants/pubs outside Youlgreave that we tried were all excellent. Pubs in the village provide basic pub grub and are very friendly. Would definitely recommend the cottage and Youlgreave."

"Kingfisher is a very comfortable and well-equipped cottage, with a lovely outlook over open country. It's a great starting point for walks right out of the door. Youlgreave is a pleasant village with nice pubs, village shop and post office. Lots to see and do in the area - more than enough for a week or two."
