Situated in a pretty cobbled street, Bobbin Cottage has recently been renovated to a very high standard, whilst still retaining its original charm and character. It features a luxurious lounge, modern dining kitchen, three lovely bedrooms and a wonderful bathroom. Set in the heart of Belper, in Long Row, it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Conservation Area where you can re-live the life of a millworker while revelling in the luxury of the cottage.
Bobbin cottage is a short walk to Belper's vibrant centre with its independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants that helped the town win a Great British High Street Award. Some of our favourites include Nonno's Italian and the River Garden Chinese restaurants. George's fish and chips are award winning and you can't beat a glass of wine while watching a film at the Ritz Cinema!
Belper is one of the gateways to the Peak District. Drive up the valley and you are soon at Matlock Bath, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and then on to the tops of the of the 'Peaks'. Carsington Water and the National Tramway Museum are in the surrounding hills and you might even venture to Alton Towers.
An attractive lounge with glowing log burning stove in the traditional fireplace, comfortable suite, large T.V, DVD, Freeview, Netflix and WiFi. A superb dining kitchen with round table and chairs, bespoke units, gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, automatic washer/dryer and French doors to the garden. On the first floor a lovely double bedroom with upholstered bed, a super twin bedroom and an ultra-modern bathroom with roll top bath, separate large shower and W.C. On the top floor another lovely double bedroom with king-size brass bedstead and far reaching views.

"We found Bobbin cottage to be excellently presented and located. The cottage was very comfortable and furnished and kitted out to a very high standard. The location was ideal, very close to an authentic Peak District town centre with good train and bus links. Lovely independent shops and restaurants close by - we would recommend Nonno’s and Olive! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bobbin cottage and will certainly rebook in the future. Thank you for the welcoming scones and wine - a nice touch."
